Star Gazing (Orion)

salam to all


one of my interest besides animangame is astronomy~


basically,after having dinner with my friends,i'll stop by in front of my block for few minutes n start to stargaze


today,the evening sky is very clear..almost no clouds can be seen


well,the weather and condition of the sky should be taken into account when u're going to stargaze


clouds would prevent u from seeing any star at night


light pollution too..since i'm living in Shah Alam now,the light pollution  is kinda high (but still can see any bright star like Sirius,Pollux,Castor)


back to the main topic,today i managed to trace the Orion constellation

what is Orion constellation?

Orion, sometimes subtitled The Hunter, is a prominent constellation located on the celestial equator and visible throughout the world. It is one of the most conspicuous, and most recognisable constellations in the night sky. Its name refers to Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology...(wiki..XDD)

Orion has a shape of hunter.It's very easy to detect it in sky especially during the dusk.However,there is time limit if u want to see Orion.By 10 o'clock,it's getting hard to see it as Orion constellation starts to enter the west horizon.

Stellarium (stars simulation software) shows the behaviors of stars 

SubhanAllah...how beautiful the stars the He creates.

How To Detect Orion ?

Firstly,u have to face WEST.Next,try to detect the presence of Orion belt that consists of Alnitak,Alnilam n Mantika.

Then,try to search Betelgeuse .Since Betelgeuse is red supergiant star,u'll easily can find it.It twinkles reddish light.

That's all for today.Got to off now n start studying math for final.Try stargazing okay..It's very interesting especially once u found the constellations~
